Ten questions that come up again and again, answered by the people who run the press rather than by a support script.
Do you print the picture yourself, or is this a shop front?
The press is ours and the catalogue is written here. The checkout is not ours: every piece is bought at our retail partner, and that is where payment and delivery are arranged.
How good does my photograph need to be?
Good enough that you can see the detail at full size on your own screen without it turning mushy. A picture that looks fine as a phone thumbnail can fall apart across a throw a metre and a half wide. Screenshots of photographs are the usual culprit.
Will the colours match what I see on my screen?
Close, not identical. Screens make colour with light and print makes it with ink, so deep blues and bright reds shift slightly on fabric. Skin tones hold up well. Neon does not.
Why does the same photograph look different on a tumbler and on a blanket?
Because the surfaces are nothing alike. A blanket is a wide flat field with a soft nap that swallows fine strokes. A tumbler is a narrow curved band, so the picture wraps and the edges of the frame end up out of sight. Choose the surface around the picture, not the other way.
Can I put more than one person on a piece?
Yes, and the larger the surface the better it works. Group shots suit throws, flags and beach towels. On a tumbler or a phone sized panel somebody always ends up at the fold.
How long does a temporary transfer last?
A few days on skin that is not scrubbed, less on hands or anywhere that rubs against clothing. They are made to come off, so treat the number as a rough few days rather than a promise.
Can I wash a printed garment normally?
Cold water, inside out, and let it dry without heat. The print itself is durable, but tumble heat is what shortens its life, not the washing.
Where do I check the price and the delivery terms?
On the listing at our retail partner. The buttons here open it directly. Any figure we copied onto this site would go stale without warning, so we point at the live one instead.
Do you keep my photograph after the job?
The file goes to the press for the run and is not kept as a library here. Whatever the partner’s own privacy terms say about your order data applies on their side.
Why are there paid links on the catalogue?
Because it is how the site pays for itself. When a link leads to an order, the partner pays us a commission. The price on the listing is the same either way.
